(USA Today) - We're finally going to see what Uncle Jesse is like as a dad in real life.
John Stamos' rep Matt Polk confirmed to USA TODAY that the actor and his fiancée, actress Caitlin McHugh, are expecting their first child together.
People magazine was the first to report the news.
Stamos, 54, announced that he and McHugh, 31, would tie the knot in an illustrated Instagram of the couple at Disneyland in October. Stamos told People that the engagement took place after the pair found out they would be parents.

“The (pregnancy) happened. Then I said, I better have a ring on her finger because it’s the right thing to do, and I wanted to marry her anyway,” the Fuller House actor said. “So I called her parents to ask, and it was like, ‘You better!’"
"The look on John’s face when I told him we were pregnant was priceless,” said McHugh to the entertainment news outlet. “It was the look of a man who has wanted a family of his own but wasn’t sure it was going to happen for him. Now it is!"
Stamos told People's Editor-in-Chief, Jess Cagle, that they wanted to "be surprised" when it comes to the sex of the baby and indicated the two wanted a Full House.
"I think so," Stamos said when asked about more children. "She wants to have other kids too."
