Chapin, SC (WLTX)- Over a dozen service organization working in Chapin got together to share projects, ideas and contact information to see how they can work together moving forward.

This is the second Chapin Community Summit hosted in the Town Hall. The first one was three years ago and Karen Owens with the town thought it was time for another one.

"The goal of this meeting is for all the service organizations to come together and highlight the projects and program directives they are focusing on in our community" she said.

Each organization had time to introduce themselves and ask each other questions. One thing Owens says really helped organization out last time was figuring out they were helping the same families around the same holiday times. This meeting she says helped them schedule the help throughout the year.
