(WLTX) -- A Lexington County man has been arrested after breaking into several homes, according to the Lexington County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies say 22-year-old Quindell Dozier from Batesburg is charged with first degree burglary and three counts of second degree burglary. During the months of September and October, he went into homes during the day in Batesburg, Gilbert and Leesville and took guns, jewelry and electronics.

“Detectives felt early in the investigation that one person was hitting these homes. We’re glad to have made an arrest in these cases and returned some of the property,” Sheriff Jay Koon said.

Sheriff Koon recommends documenting serial numbers for fire arms and electronics since it helps investigators track down stolen items.

Dozier is held at the Lexington County Detention Center and his bond is set at $130,000.
