(WLTX) -- An inmate is dead after a fight broke out at a local correctional facility, according to officials.
A spokesperson from the South Carolina Department of Corrections say one person died from injuries sustained from an altercation at Lee Correctional Institution in Bishopville.
We haven't been notified of what time it occurred or what led up to the fight at the level three facility.
This incident remains under investigation.
