A Sumter man has been charged after allegedly exposing himself to a teen, according to the Sumter Police Department.

Antonio Jermaine Scott, 30, of Sumter, was charged Friday with third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

Police say Scott is accused of exposing himself to a teenaged girl and then attempting to make her touch him. The incident happened on August 2 at a Washington Street business, according to investigators.

Scott was booked at the Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center and has since been released after posting bond, police say. Officials say Scott is complying with court-ordered electronic monitoring.
