Richland County, SC (WLTX) -- The Richland County Sheriff's Office has arrested two people following a police chase on Broad River Road in Richland County.

Deputies arrested 21-year-old Maurice Green and 18-year-old Enoch Palmer after they crashed into another vehicle following a pursuit.

Lt. Curtis Wilson said Deputies started a pursuit with Green and Palmer in a stolen car near the 2200-block of Broad River Road just after 8 p.m. Saturday night. The fleeing vehicle struck a bystander as they were leaving a gas station. There is no word on the condition of that person.

Lt. Wilson said after a short chase on Broad River Road, deputies were able to catch up to Green and Palmer after they struck another vehicle. The people in that car are expected to be okay.

Deputies were able to arrest the two suspects. They found a gun and other items in the stolen vehicle.

Green is charged with failure to stop for blue lights, possession of a stolen car, reckless driving, simple possession of marijuana, and driving under suspension. Palmer is charged with possession with intent to distribute, possession of ecstasy, and possession of a stolen gun.
