Rock Hill, SC (WLTX) - The South Carolina Department of Corrections says a missing inmate has now been captured.
The agency said Friday night that Michael Allman had been found, roughly two hours after he went missing.
Allman was declared missing at 7:04 p.m., when officers say he walked away from where he was working.
The agency says he was employed at Polymer Processing in Rock Hill, and was assigned to Catawba Pre-Release Center in Rock Hill, SC.
Allman had been serving 10 years for burglary second degree. He hadn't been disciplined during his jail term.
According to prison records, his projected release date was in September of 2020, but he was eligible for parole in May of 2018.
