Columbia, SC (WLTX) - — A woman is being accused of kicking a patient at a Columbia psychiatric hospital.
Angela Harrington, 52, is charged with abuse of a vulnerable adult.
The incident happened back on March 22 while Harrington worked as a behavioral health assistant at G. Werber Bryan Psychiatric Hospital.
According to a warrant, Harrington grabbed a woman at the facility by her hair, pushed her to the floor, and kicked her in the back several times.
The incident was captured on surveillance video. The incident was then reported to South Carolina Law Enforcement Division agents.
The warrant states that when interviewed by agents, Harrington denied committing the offense.
She was booked at the Richland County Detention Center.
