The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office say three children who were reported missing in South Carolina have been found safe.

Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright said the children were found in Rutherford County, North Carolina. The children's grandmother has been detained and the sheriff's department is working to extradite her back to South Carolina.

Rashid (8), Jushaun (7) and Jahleel (6) Hill were reported missing, and had last been seen with Connie Sanders, the grandmother, in the Columbia area late Tuesday night.

A family member reported seeing Sanders and the children in Columbia around midnight Tuesday, according to Wright.

Wright says the children were with their mother, Sharita Richardson, and grandmother Tuesday afternoon. Around 5 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, Sanders took off with the children after dropping off at Virginia College to apply for school.

"I love them with all my heart, said Richardson before the children were found. ":I just want my little boys back. I want to know they're OK and I want my boys back."
