Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- The fourth annual Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers South Carolina 5K Run & Walk is set for Friday, September 16 at 7:00 p.m. in Columbia's Vista.

The race begins at the First Responders Historic Remembrance Memorial next to the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on Lincoln Street. The 5K honors first responders and military service members. The race has been named in honor of Stephen Siller, a New York Firefighter who died in the September 11th attacks.

There will be a number of street and road closures because of Friday's race. Beginning at 5:00 p.m., Lincoln Street and Senate Street will be closed. Parts of Gervais and Blossom Streets will be closed temporarily. Detours will be put in place.
