Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies arrested a man they say robbed a Blythewood gas station early last week.
Deavyn Scott, 20, is charged with strong arm robbery.
Deputies say Scott asked to buy a cigar from the Sharpe Shoppe at 230 Blythewood Road around 3:30 a.m. When the cashier went to open the register, he reportedly jumped the counter, stole cash from the register, then fled the scene.
Scott turned himself in Wednesday at the Richland County Sheriff's Department and was booked at the Richland County Detention Center.
