Columbia, SC (WLTX) — Columbia police arrested a man they say injured one person during a hit-and-run early Sunday morning.
Police say Joshua Myers, 25, struck a 37-year-old man, who suffered serious injuries, in the 2300 block of Two Notch Road around 2:30 a.m.
Myers was booked at the Richland County Detention Center after turning himself in to officers Tuesday afternoon. He is charged with hit-and-run with great bodily injury, failure to render aid, driving under suspension, operating an uninsured vehicle and suspended vehicle license.
The victim remains hospitalized at a local hospital.
Police believed the suspect was driving a 2012- 2017 Hybrid Camry or 2012-2016 Camry with front end, hood & windshield damage.
