Cayce, SC (WLTX) - An investigation is underway after an unresponsive person was found in Cayce Tuesday morning.
Cayce Public Safety officers and Lexington EMS were unable to revive the patient on the 200 block of Hunters Mill Drive around 7 a.m.
The circumstances of the person's death are unknown at this time, according to the Lexington County Coroner, who will send the body to MUSC in Charleston for an autopsy Thursday.
If the autopsy reveals the cause of death was natural, the identity will be released.
