Columbia, SC (WLTX) - A Columbia rapper is giving fans something new with his first solo album.

Cole Connor's debut solo album "Soda" is out today.

Soda stands for "Sometimes Our Dreams Align."

“Columbia has embraced me and really shaped me as a man,” says Cole. “Working with

pioneers like FatRat Da Czar has sharpened my skills as an emcee and musician. SODA embodies this

growth as I make my contribution to an often undervalued yet very talented South Carolina hip-hop scene.”

The album has 10 tracks and features collaborations with Folk-Hop Band 'Colorblind' and Hip-Hop Collective 'New Success Culture'.

Connor is also a member of 'New Success Culture'.

To celebrate the release, Czar Records has put together an album release party for Thursday, December 1st at The New Brookland Tavern, featuring live performances by FatRat Da Czar, Grand Royal and newcomer to the Columbia scene Dynamic. The New Brookland Tavern is located at 122 State St, West Columbia, SC. Doors open at 8pm and showtime is 9pm. Entry is $8.
