Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Cooler, dryer air has moved into the area. Monday will be cooler than Sunday, but the sunshine will continue.

Sunday afternoon we enjoyed a lot of sun and warm conditions. Temperatures were generally in the middle to upper 70s.

Monday will start off a little cool. Low temperatures Monday morning may drop to near 50 degrees. High temperatures on Columbus Day will be in the lower to middle 70s.

Tuesday morning low temperatures may fall into the upper 40s. If we do have temperatures in the 40s, that would be the first time since May 7.

The dry, pleasant weather will continue through the workweek. High temperatures will gradually climb to near 80° by Thursday.
