Richland County, SC (WLTX) — One woman was injured in a drive-by shooting following a fight Sunday night, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies say they responded to Providence Hospital on Forest Drive just after 8 p.m. Sunday night after being called about a shooting. After arriving, investigators say they determined the incident happened over on Percival Road.
Deputies say a fight involving multiple people, including both men and women, had happened in the 300 block of Percival Road. One woman reportedly pulled her friend, another woman, away from the fight, authorities say. As the two women were walking away, investigators say multiple shots were fired by a passing car. One of the women was struck in the lower body, according to deputies.
The woman, who suffered non-lfe threatening injuries, was then taken by friends to Providence Hospital, where investigators say witnesses were uncooperative.
