Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia firefighters say two homes were damaged by fire Saturday night on Gervais Street.
The fire was near the 2200 block of the road, which is almost where it intersects with Harden Streets near Five Points.
Fire officials say both homes appeared to be vacant and unoccupied. There are no reports of injuries.
Traffic in the area was affected as crews worked to put out the fire. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the blaze.
