First the Columbia Restaurant Burns, Then Its Food Truck is Stolen

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - One family business' owners are asking for your help after they say their food truck was stolen from their family restaurant which then burned.

The Pa-Boys Restaurant on Broad River Road has been at its location since November this past year. Recently they suffered an accidental fire that forced them to shutdown their kitchen for the time being.

If the fire wasn't bad enough, now the owners have no way to make a living for their family without their food truck.

Kenesha Coleman says early Wednesday morning two men in a white truck came to the restaurant and stole their food truck. The Richland County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident.

The owner says the truck has two distinct dents in the front of the nose and a bent lift on the front side. She says there was also an ice maker and a flat top stove oven inside of the trailer.

Coleman says none of this is right and she hopes and prays the suspects bring back the trailer.

"My husband and I are just two small business owners. This is what we do. We have three boys. This is our way of money. By taking something that doesn't belong to you cripples not only us but the entire community around us,” said Coleman.

Coleman says they won’t be able to cook anything or make a profit until the business reopens.
