Charleston, SC (WLTX) - South Carolina's former first lady Jenny Sanford has married investment banker Andy McKay.
The wedding took place along the waterway near the Ben Sawyer Bridge near Charleston, and was attended by family and friends of the pair. Weather was clear, temperatures helped by the ocean breeze and Easter pastels were the colors of choice.
The couple announced their engagement only back in January, after 15 months of dating.
Sanford's fiance, Andy McKay, is the senior managing director and head of investment banking at Hilliard Lyons.
In 2010, the former first lady divorced now-U.S. Congressman Mark Sanford after his infidelity was made public in 2009 in a scandal that received worldwide attention. At the time, Mark Sanford was in his second term as South Carolina's governor.
The Sanfords had four sons together during their 20 years of marriage.
Mark Sanford did not attend.
