Myrtle Beach, SC (WLTX) - Park-goers caught an eyeful when two humpback whales made an appearance near Myrtle Beach State Park on Saturday.

The whales could be seen from the park's pier, and stayed about a half-mile off shore from dawn to dusk, according to South Carolina State Parks.

Officials say the whales can sometimes be seen along the South Carolina coast during winter months as the migrate to the Caribbean.
