Columbia, SC (WLTX) - While many are gearing up for Thanksgiving and looking ahead to Black Friday others are enjoying Wednesday night as a stress free time to let someone else do the cooking. One hot spot is Yesterday's Tavern in Five Points.
"This morning was a little slow, but tonight has picked up a little bit," Manager Lonnie MacRae said. "I'm assuming this is just a bunch of families getting into town (and) not having anything prepared for tonight, but getting ready for tomorrow."
Naja Winkle was there with her grandparents and couldn't wait to dive into the food.
"I always order the veggie platter and I always get mac and cheese," she said.
Her grandmother Annie Winkle said she was just happy to spend time with her family.
"We live in Boston and we come down to be with our beautiful family in South Carolina and we party from morning until night," she said.
