Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia police charged a second woman they say tried to perform an exorcism last month.
Tiara Jones, 26, is charged with assault in the first degree and kidnapping.
Police say Tiara and her sister, 28-year-old Brittany Jones, held a 56-year-old woman against her will for an extended period of time, because they believed she was "possessed."
The sisters allegedly attempted to perform an exorcism, assaulting the victim with a cross on the upper and lower body. She was later treated for non life-threatening injuries at a local hospital, after escaping and getting help from a neighbor.
Brittany is also charged with assault in the first degree and kidnapping.
