ROCKLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — Holiday time can be the best of times and the worst of times to borrow a phrase from Dickens.

For a waitress from Rockland, Bianca Brancella, it has been a rough time of year. Brancella works at Pizza Hut as a part-time server and says her fiance has been out of work because of an injury since October.

Brancella was working a shift on Wednesday, Dec. 20, when she says a generous patron left her a $200 tip, saying, "you deserve it. Merry Christmas dear."

Bianca says she gave the man a hug and cried.

Afterward, she went to T.J. Maxx to do some Christmas shopping and ran into John Travolta. Brancella says Travolta was very kind, took a photo with them and wished them Happy Holidays.
