LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — The South Carolina Highway Patrol said a pedestrian was killed after being struck by a motorcycle in Lexington County Wednesday night.
Lance Corporal Matt Southern said the accident happened around 9:40 p.m. on US Highway 321 near Lloydwood Drive.
L. Cpl. Southern said the pedestrian was walking in the southbound lanes of Highway 321 when a motorcyclist struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian died at the scene.
Troopers said the motorcyclist suffered minor injuries.
The Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
