Columbia, SC (WLTX)- While no presidential candidates are stumping on our grounds, a Midlands woman is. But not for any particular candidate, she's stumping for people to go out and vote.

Minnie Thomas is a social worker who voted absentee on Saturday because she had to work on Tuesday. Right after she cast her ballot, she took the streets downtown.

"If we don't have a voice by the way of a vote technically we don't have a voice at all" she told a group of people as a way to encourage people to vote.
