Police arrested two men on the Texas 10 Most Wanted sex offender list this past week. Both were wanted for probation violations and failure to comply as sex offenders.

Albert Isaiah Christopher, 39, was arrested by Dallas police at a north Dallas apartment complex Monday.

Christopher was convicted of sexually assaulting two girls, ages 10 and 12, in November 2011. There have been two warrants out for his arrest since January 2014.

An unrelated tip led to the arrest of Charles Simpson, 48, of Houston on Thursday. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety Simpson has been wanted since January of this year.

With the two arrests this week Texas law enforcement have arrested 19 individuals from the state's 10 most wanted fugitives and sex offenders list in 2016 alone. 12 of these individuals have been sex offenders and the other eight were gang members.

Each tipster that led to the arrests this week will receive a reward of up to $3,000.
