With the Houston Texans needing help to shore up the receiver spot, the team signed former Clemson receiver Germone Hopper who worked out for the team and landed a deal.

Hopper was at Clemson before leaving the program after the 2015 season. He caught 71 passes for 797 yards and six touchdowns during his career with the Tigers.

He will join other former Clemson players including quarterback Deshaun Watson, receiver DeAndre Hopkins, nose tackle D.J. Reader, defensive lineman Carlos Watkins and safety Marcus Gilchristt.
