After one of the best seasons in school history, Benedict College has seen five of its players earn All-Conference honors from the SIAC.
Wide receiver Okechi Ntiasagwe and offensive lineman Justin Brown were named to the first team. Offensive lineman Craig Hinson, defensive back Edward Kirkland and punter Tory Mimbs were named to the second team.
A Ridge View graduate, Ntiasagwe had 41 receptions for 589 yards and three touchdowns for the Tigers who tied a program record for best single season winning percentage with at least eight games played.
The .778 winning percentage is the best since the Tigers resumed football play in 1995. It's also just the second season with seven or more wins in the modern era.
