PJ Dozier's NBA Draft watch party did not have the happy ending he had planned.

Instead of celebrating being taken in the NBA Draft the Spring Valley graduate and former USC guard turned his watch party into a motivational talk of sorts as he told the crowd 'I'm not done'.

Dozier was not drafted but shortly after his watch party ended came reports he had signed a free agent deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.

After admittedly struggling in his freshman year at USC, Dozier came on strong in his sophomore season at USC. He averaged 13.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.7 steals as USC set a single-season record with 26 wins and advanced to its first Final Four.

Dozier was plagued by back spasms during the season which affected his jumper. The last couple of months saw Dozier spend time in San Diego with shooting coaches who helped him refine his shot. The appearance at the NBA Combine and the workouts for teams was PJ's chance to show the scouts his perimeter game is sound and his injured back was healthy enough for the rigors of the NBA.

Whether it was concerns about his back or his jumper, Dozier will now look to prove 29 other teams they made a mistake in passing over him as he looks to make the Lakers' roster for next season.
