Will Muschamp has had one contest against Clemson, but he knew what this game was about thanks to some free education.
"On the first day on the job, when 38 people tell you to beat Clemson," he said.
Dabo Swinney has been a part of this rivalry since 2003 when he joined the Tiger program as wide receivers coach. Since taking over as head coach, he is 4-5 which includes a five-game losing streak to the HBC. But after reeling off three straight, he knows in this game, it's all about what have you done for me lately.
"Last year, we won the national championship and lost to Pittsburgh," Swinney said.
"If we had won the national championship and lost to South Carolina ... we didn't have people coming up to us at church saying 'Congratulations on winning the national championship, but you lost one. You lost to Pittsburgh'. They moved on. Everybody moved on. But this is one nobody moves on from."
