Jake Bentley didn't have to worry about dealing about with questions during his freshman year. Will Muschamp has a policy where his players don't deal with the media until after their freshman year is over.

But Bentley is making up for lost time. He made more than a few appearances in front of the cameras and on Thursday, he will be making his debut at SEC Media Days. The annual preseason media gathering will be Bentley's largest forum in terms of media but don't expect the sophomore to be overwhelmed with the number of cameras tracking his every word.

"I try to worry about what Florida and Georgia are doing on defense more than the media," Bentley said.

"Just trying to stay focused. I have a lot of great teammates and great coaches who keep me grounded and keep me focused on one thing."

Bentley will be joined in Hoover by head coach Will Muschamp, tight end Hayden Hurst and receiver Deebo Samuel.

Of course with a national, regional and local audience checking out SEC Media Days, a first-class wardrobe is a must and already, there are rumors that Samuel plans on making a major fashion statement with his choice of clothing for Thursday. Bentley says he has information on that matter but doesn't want to steal Samuel's thunder.

"I do know, but I'm going to keep it a secret," Bentley said.

"He's got something picked out that's pretty nice. All three of us should be looking kinda good, but he'll probably take the crown on the best looking."

Samuel will be making his second straight appearance in Hoover.
