Jordan Anderson will be catching up on some much-needed sleep this week.

The 2017 NASCAR season is in the books and for Anderson, 2017 meant another year of taking his #1 Chevy on the road with Anderson at the wheel of his trailer after a week working as engineer, public relations director and business manager - all the while driving his truck across the country to the various tracks.

Welcome to Jordan Anderson Inc. - which consists of a few buddies who help him out during the week and pit crew members that sometimes aren't hired until he gets to the track.

So how did he fare this year? Thanks to an aggressive and creative "Fueled By Fans" sponsorship program combined with support from various companies, Anderson drove in 20 of the 23 races on the schedule and finished 17th in the points standings. While he is still looking for that first career top 10 finish, he did record seven top 20 finishes including a season-high 13th at Phoenix. The final race of the year saw him come home 17th at Homestead.

"It's amazing how many blessings we have to be thankful for with the awesome year our team had fighting through all we encountered every week with and never giving up," Anderson wrote in part on his Twitter page this week.

"It would be an understatement to say how incredibly grateful we were to cap off our year with a great night at the track and finish off our year with a 17th-place finish - my best yet and 3rd straight year in the Top 20 Drivers Points (standings). Humbling."

Anderson's 20 starts were the most he has completed in one season, up from 17 and 18 the previous two seasons. He also improved his average finish to a career-best 21.2
