NEW LONDON, NC — The ACC men's golf championship was on the line at the Old North State Club in New London, North Carolina. Who will take home this beauty? Georgia Tech by a narrow margin over Clemson this year.
The Tigers were led by Doc Redman. The sophomore applying the lessons he's learned after the Masters and the RBC Heritage as he eagles on his opening hole. He shot his best round of the championship on Sunday with a 66. He finished second overall at 14 under.
Clemson was chasing Georgia Tech all day. Bryson Nimmer tried to close the gap with a birdie on 18 for the Tigers. He placed 16th respectively but Georgia Tech wins the ACC Championship by two strokes over Clemson. Georgia Tech finished 29 under after three rounds for the title.
