USC comes into the 2017 with high expectations for the offense.

Sophomore quarterback Jake Bentley can't throw to his receiving weapons and Rico Dowdle and the running backs can't produce in the rushing game without a stout offensive line.

Senior center Alan Knott believes the offensive line is aware of the responsibility they have this season and it all starts with their mental approach instilled by offensive line coach Eric Wolford.

"You know everybody is on point. Everybody knows their plays, everybody knows what they got to do on every play and what everybody is doing on every play. So I think that's a plus and it's helped a lot," Knott said.

Bentley has also seen his offensive line improve so far during camp.

"Coach Wolford is doing a great job with them. As far as their communication just the way they're working together has just been great. Seeing blitzes before they happen, just the different tips that they can get from the defense that they can get, they're seeing that a lot faster and doing a great job."

USC kicks off against NC State September 2nd in Charlotte and we'll find out how well the offensive can perform in their first game.
