Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- The South Carolina Gamecocks' Women's Basketball team earned a No. 2 seed in the 2018 NCAA Tournament, as they look to repeat as champions.
They will play North Carolina A&T in their first round game on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Colonial Life Arena.
The Gamecocks are in the Albany Regional, which means they will have to face undefeated No. 1 overall seed Connecticut to make it back to the Final Four.
The team and fans watched the Selection Show at The Zone at Williams-Brice Stadium.
The Gamecocks won their fourth consecutive SEC Women's Basketball Tournament on March 3 when they defeated the then-undefeated Mississippi State Bulldogs 62-51.
South Carolina is 26-6 this season.
