Columbia, SC (WLTX) - South Carolina's men's basketball team has entered the Associated Press's Top 25 poll for the first time this season, ranking at 20th.

The new survey was released around noon Monday. The Gamecocks (6-0) defeated two top 25 teams last week, Michigan and Syracuse.

Kentucky remains atop the poll, followed by Villanova, North Carolina, Kansas, and Duke to round out the top five.
