(WLTX) -- The SEC Men's Basketball Tournament kicks off on Wednesday, and News19 is on your side with everything you need to know.

The tournament is being held at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. It is normally the home to the NHL's St. Louis Blues. It is the first time the SEC Tournament has been played west of the Mississippi River.

The SEC bases its seeding off regular season conference records. Auburn and Tennessee shared the best record at 13-5, but Auburn will be the No. 1 seed in the tournament. The top four seeds don't play until the quarterfinals and seeds four through eight do not play until the second round.
