Senior Perry Orth may not go down as a top 10 quarterback at USC, but he will no doubt have plenty of fans on hand for Saturday's final regular season game at Williams-Brice Stadium.

A former walk-on, Orth has started 11 games during his career including three this season. But when Jake Bentley was named the starter after the open week, Orth found himself third on the depth chart.

It's not easy being demoted publicly but Orth has handled it with class.

"That I'm good at handling adversity," Orth said.

"Everything hasn't really gone my way so far. But, it's about helping the team and doing what it takes and I feel like I've done my part."

This senior class is Will Muschamp's first at USC and after a 2-4, Carolina is now one win from bowl eligibility and Orth says the group of seniors can take some pride in having shown the younger players the ropes.

"You know we were here for the good times, we were here for the low times and now we're here to lay a foundation for this next staff and I feel like we've done that."
