Damion Daley has been a force inside for the Ridge View Blazer football team.
The senior was so impressive that he has earned a spot to play in this week's Shrine Bowl and he has been in Spartanburg since Sunday getting ready for the big game.
Ridge View head football coach Perry Parks says Daley
"He goes a thousand miles per hour out there," Parks said.
"His motor is one of his best attributes."
That motor impressed a lot of college coaches but in the end, he verbally committed to Colorado State - following in the footsteps of his older brother Dennis who is a Ridge View graduate, former Shrine Bowl participant and currently a Division I lineman. Dennis is a junior offensive lineman at USC.
Saturday in Spartanburg, Daley will be looking to showcase his skills in the annual battle between the Sandlappers and the Tar Heels.
