Lake Marion product Mike Williams, who was the seventh overall player in the NFL Draft by the Chargers, may need season-ending back surgery, that accoding to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The former Clemson receiver who helped the Tigers win the national championship suffered a herniated disk in rookie minicamp and did not participate in the team's OTAs.

Williams recently received a second epidural on his herniated disk according to the ESPN report and if his back issues can't be resolved, he will likely be on the shelf for his rookie season.
