Former Ridge View Blazer Brian Quick caught only two passes Sunday against Arizona, but they were big.

Quick provided the book ends to the scoring for the Los Angeles Rams who defeated Arizona 17-13 at the University of Phoenix Stadium.

His 65-yard touchdown reception gave the Rams a 7-0 first quarter lead. He did not catch another pass until the fourth quarter when Case Keenum tossed a four-yard touchdown pass to Quick which turned out to be the difference.

The former Appalachian State Mountaineer had a volatile preseason in which he had his fair share of dropped passes, prompting head coach Jeff Fisher to call him out publicly.

Those words apparently have lit a fire under Quick who leads the Rams' receiving corps with three touchdowns.
