The Lexington Blowfish had to rally a couple of times but they start the second half of their summer season with a bang.

The Blowfish hosted the Martinsville Mustangs on Monday night. The visitors were up 2-0 in the second inning after scoring two on a single.

Lexington catcher Andres Perez would drive in the first Blowfish run in the second with a single to left field.

In the 3rd Austin Wilhite makes a great diving play on a grounder and glove flips it to second base to get the force out and end the inning for Lexington. Wilhite kept the playmaking alive with a double to give the Blowfish a base runner. Dom Cuoci would then drive in Wilhite with a single to left tying the game.

Lexington goes on to win 7-6 on a walk off sac fly by Willie Thomas. Check out the play below.

Lexington hosts Florence for the 4th of July. Gametime is 7:00 pm with fireworks following the conclusion of the game.
