Young Legends Headline USC's "Legends Weekend"

Legends Weekend saw the return of the four players who were the driving force behind USC's first trip to the Final Four.

"Legends Weekend" at USC had a much different feel than in years past as four players who are just a year removed from the program have already achieved legendary status after their helped lead Carolina to its first Final Four appearance.

PJ Dozier, Justin McKie, Duane Notice and Sindarius Thornwell were presented with commemorative jerseys and Final Four rings at halftime of the Auburn game.

Dozier and Thornwell, both of whom are in the first year of playing professionally, were able to come back for Legends Weekend because of the NBA All-Star break.

"It's not really the moment. It's the work we put in to get to that moment," said Thornwell.

"For me, it just showed that it paid off and you embrace it. It feels good."

Thornwell was a second-round draft pick of the Los Angeles Clippers. Dozier, who went undrafted, is currently in the Oklahoma City Thunder organization and has a few NBA games under his belt as he has spent most of his rookie season in the G-League.

"These guys and myself, we put in a lot of work along with the rest of the guys to help us get to this point," Dozier said.

"Just taking it all in, blessed to have this opportunity to come back and be able to share it with these guys."
