Ashley Yore
REPORTER

Ever since she first learned to speak, Ashley Yore has been asking questions. Her inquisitive nature and love for story telling made journalism a natural choice. Ashley was thrilled to follow her dream to WLTX in June 2008.

Ashley graduated from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.

Ashley's first introduction to the television business was as an intern at NY1 News in New York City. She also worked at PBS in Chicago and FOX News Chicago. Her first job in tv was as a reporter in Quincy, Illinois covering everything from the downfalls of tractor traffic to the hidden gems found in antique shops.

Leaving the Midwest behind, Ashley moved to Sun Valley, Idaho to work as a graduate intern for the Lifestyle channel Plum TV. There she directed, edited and hosted a live show. Some of her favorite pieces included an expose of artist Dale Chihuly, a spelunking expedition, or as we would call it a cave exploration, learning how to snowboard and a first attempt at ice fishing.

Now, Ashley has returned much closer to her hometown of Boca Raton, Florida.

When she can find the time, Ashley loves to travel. Some of her favorite destinations include Tanzania, Zanzibar, Madrid, Prague, Costa Rica, the Galapagos Islands?and now South Carolina! She can't wait to explore Columbia and report the stories that are most important to the Midlands.
