Nat Roers MORNING ANCHOR
Email Nat Nat Roers joined the WLTX news team as a morning and midday anchor in January of 2005. Originally from Maryland, Nat grew up performing and has an extensive acting, singing, and public speaking background. Nat graduated an honor student from three separate tracks in her major of Communications at Towson University. She began her career in 2002 as a radio talk show host/ news reporter/ anchor for KCJJ radio in Iowa City, Iowa. Nat made the move to television a year later when she was hired as a backpack journalist for KAAL in Austin, Minnesota. Shooting, editing, producing, and reporting were all part of her busy daily routine during her two years at the station. Nat moved up quickly and was promoted to morning anchor after six months on the job. Her team was awarded the regional Emmy for best newscast, and is credited with bringing the station from last in the ratings to the number one rated morning show for the first time in the stations history. When she's not working, Nat loves to spend time with her husband Cory, tries to work out, and searches for where she left her car keys.
