Columbia, SC (WLTX) - A special wine to commemorate the USC baseball team will soon be available to fans.
The Ran Tanner series wine, which honors the team's back to back College World Series titles, was shown off to the public Thursday.
The wine is being distributed by Southern Wine and Spirits of South Carolina, and proceeds will benefit USC's baseball and golf programs.
There are two different styles of wine bottles: one recognizes the 2010, team, while the other acknowledges the 2011 squad.
"We are honored to once again recognize outstanding achievements by Gamecock sports teams," said Southern Wine and Spirits VP/ GM Tom Collins in a statement released by the university. " These wines honor the two incredible National Championships as well as benefit the baseball and golf programs."
The wine will go on sale to the public on April 1. A list of participating retailers and their locations will be available at GamecocksOnline.com by mid-March.
