Nashville, TN - Apparently, even being one of the biggest stars in country music can't get you into every place in Nashville with no questions asked.
TasteofCountry.com reports that Rucker was denied access to his own after party following the "Darius and Friends" concert with other country stars at the Wildhorse Saloon this past Monday. The event raised money for St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Here's what happened. The country star/Hootie & the Blowfish frontman/USC alum was getting ready to enter the bar that everyone involved in the show was supposed to meet up at following the show. However, according to SirusXM's Storme Warren, when he got to the front, he realized he didn't have his wallet and his ID.
While Rucker is a famous face, the bouncer stuck to his rule---no ID, no entry. Rucker reportedly told the man he understood he was just doing his job, and left to go to another bar.
Rucker seemingly confirmed the report, retweeing a link to the Taste of Country website's article.
