About Buddy Call 19
Buddy Call 19 is an awareness campaign promoting preventative care and the early detection of breast cancer through breast self-examinations.
Early detection is the key to surviving breast cancer. News 19 is on your side with life-saving information about the latest developments in breast cancer prevention and detection, including the importance of yearly mammograms especially after age 40. We showcase women in the Midlands who are surviving and encouraging others with the desire to fight the disease. On the 19th of every month, we take time to stress to you the importance of performing a monthly self breast exam.
You can participate in the Buddy Call 19 program by texting WLTXBUDDY to 25543 in order to receive monthly reminder text messages.
