The slow-moving low pressure system that brought rain to the Carolinas Sunday through Tuesday is finally making its way towards the northeast.
A couple of stray, quick showers will still be in the area in the early evening. The rain should completely move through by late tonight. Lows will be in the upper 50s.
Expect mostly clear skies tomorrow. With abundant sunshine, we will warm up into the upper 70s during the day. It is looking like seasonable temperatures should stick around for the rest of April.
Another low pressure system will roll through the Southeast later in the workweek. A warm front associated with it will bring showers late Thursday into Friday morning. We will see sunny skies both Saturday and Sunday with highs in the 70s.
