WINSTON-SALEM, NC — Clemson on the road for game two in their series against the Demon Deacons of Wake Forest and the Tigers proved they were road warriors with a close 4-3 victory to take the series.

Clemson was down 3-0 but in the sixth the Tigers came back. Chris Williams' hit to left field is barely caught in the outfield but it's deep enough for Logan Davidson to score the tying run. Clemson got a sacrifice and a balk for a run before that.

Brooks Crawford kept the game tied with one of his five strikeouts in the bottom of the sixth. He pitched seven innings today.

Game still tied in 8th but Kyle Wilkie makes the play of the day. His double goes back to the right field wall and that brings home Seth Beer for the go-ahead run.

Ryley Gilliam closes it out and Clemson wins a close one 4-3 handing Wake Forest their first series loss at home in two years.

Clemson goes for the sweep tomorrow.
